- If you register to vote online, the first time you vote you must vote in person or have your ID confirmed at your county election commission office ahead of time if you plan to vote absentee

Absentee/Mail-in Voting

- Absentee and Mail-In Voting are the same thing, there is no difference. In Tennessee you have to have a specific excuse in order to vote absentee.
